Job Trainers for People with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder
The main goal of the project was to provide training for teachers, educators and trainers through a specific pedagogical program designed to support the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder in the open labor market in Europe. It transferred the “Job trainer” program, previously implemented in Italy in 2012 by Centro Servizi PMI, following an initiative of AUT, a local association of families of people with autism.

WORK4PSY: An innovative model for career counselling services to Mental Health NEETs
WORK4PSY has as a main objective to enhance the work and education integration of Mental Health NEETs through the creation of specialized career counselling methodology and the education of the four main target groups involved in this procedure: (a) MH NEETs themselves, (b) Mental Health Professionals, (c) Career Counsellors, (d) Informal Carers (such as family members).

Training University Teachers for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities
This programme is addressed at teachers and professors at the University level, to improve their knowledge about intellectual disabilities, the specific educational needs related to them, and the different possibilities to adapt their subjects for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.

Inclusion of People with Autism in Europe. Improving scholar transitions from primary to secondary school
This project is focused on decreasing early school leaving in students with ASD, improvement of relationships in school between students with ASD and their peers and classmates, training teachers from primary and secondary schools working with people with ASD in order to provide them with strategies to improve the academic performance of people with ASD and to reduce their anxiety/stress symptoms associated with scholar issues.

ALERRT: Autism on the Line! Educating first Responders on how to Recognise and Treat individuals with autism
For people with autism, learning to interact with first responders is critical. It is, also, just as essential for first responders (police officers, firefighters, and medical emergency/ambulance workers) to understand autism and be prepared to respond effectively and safely to situations involving individuals on the spectrum.

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in schools closing all across the globe, leaving over 1.2 billion children in 186 countries out of the classroom. As a result, education has seen a dramatic change, with the rise of e-learning, and teaching taking place remotely and on digital platforms. Meaning that teachers have dramatically changed their learning and working materials to digitised options. Many teachers who have never had such experience before, and who have not received sufficient training on how to deal with such a crisis in pre-service and in-service training processes, were caught unprepared for this process.

Today we are facing a professional and social exclusion of adult people with autism, this is the reason why we have developed a team of professionals in our project that will contribute to the creation of an educational alternative that respects their learning pace and will contribute to improving their chance of employability. So, they will have the opportunity not only to integrate into the social life but also for new opportunities to develop their own personal autonomy and even to establish their own family. With the help of specialists, our role in the project is to capitalize on the potential and the qualities of adults with autism by specializing them in professional fields that fit the job profile.

Be my friend, I am just like you
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) refers to a range of conditions characterised by some degree of impaired social behaviour, communication and language, and a narrow range of interests and activities that are both unique to the individual and carried out repetitively.
According to the World Health Organization it is estimated that worldwide one in 160 children has an ASD. This estimate represents an average figure, and reported prevalence varies substantially across studies.
